Update: Vienna city bike

This is a typical Vienna city bike station, which can be found all over the city:

I used the bikes a couple of times now, and I actually really enjoyed it.
Though I am not very happy with the bike paths that exist in Vienna, as they are really confusing!

Trying to help my future classmate-Gabriel

Trying to help my future classmate-Gabriel

Gabriel, 17, from Brazil, passionate singer, interested in Chemistry and the sustainability industry is the first student I found on the internet that will be going to EMIS with me (we both got accepted on March 27) and is now experiencing difficulties to come up with the needed tuition and health insurance.

He is a very friendly and open-minded guy, and the one who brought all (future EMISERS) together.
He forwarded this message to me to spread the world even more:
" Guys, going to EMIS (the school Anna, your blogger will be attending next fall) is also a huge dream for me. But, for money reasons everything becomes harder. I would really appreciate if you guys could click in the link below and read about my story, at least, then decide if you would like to help me either donating or just sharing, both will be more then welcome! Best of love, Gabriel - Brazil"

This is his fundraising campaign to come up for the tuition and health insurance cost. Maybe some of you are able to give him a hand and reach his goal to attend EMIS, his dream school. Here's his Fundraising campaign.

365 days ago: Goodbye CANADA

366 days ago it was my last night in Canada, which I spent together with my host sister Alisa as promised when we first met in my room.
365 days ago, we went for breakfast at the same restaurant we went to multiple times before.
365 days ago I ordered the same Crêpe avec fraises, as I always did.
365 days ago we gave a trophy to our host parents as price for being the best host family.
365 days ago we finally (and proudly) presented our video called "Thank you, Merci" which we did as a gift for our host family
365 days ago I finished packing up all my stuff
365 days ago we were arguing when we'll put all of it in the car
365 days ago we drove to the airport, my host parents and my host cousin
365 days ago I could not do self checkin, so we had to wait in line for a good amount of time
365 days ago I hugged my host parents for the last time
365 days ago I drank my last Lemonade glacé
365 days ago I got on the plane
365 days ago I stepped the last time on Canadian ground
365 days ago I left CANADA

May the time spent there be always remembered!

Traditional clothing shopping 1

A few days back, I went to the mall and there was a "Trachtenshop" where I decided to try a couple of
Dirndls on, as I want to bring one to EMIS,
but do not own one yet.
This one was my favourite out of the ones I tried on.
We will continue to look for more Dirndls,
and maybe there is one I like even more.

Tel Aviv Day 5

On our last day we decided to go to the old train station, which was recommended to us by my future teacher Mr Uziel. On our way back we went by the market to buy some last souvenirs, before we head to the airport. After a long time of waiting, we finally were able to check in and go threw the security control. The plane ride was good again, and 3 1/2 hours later we landed in Vienna, our trip is over!
Unbelievable how fast our trip passed!

Tel Aviv Day 4

This morning we visited Hakfar Hayarok, more information in my EMIS/ Hakfar Hayarok campus visit post.
After we had a good time at the campus we waited for a taxi to pass by, but there was none. So then a bus came and said: "asdasdasdasdasd Tel Aviv asdsfsndf" (or at least that's what we understood), so I said to my mom: "Let's just hop on this bus! We can take a taxi from there, at least we'll be somewhere in Tel Aviv!" I still can not believe that this bus literally stopped 3 minutes from our apartment! It could have been going anywhere, Tel Aviv isn't that small!
We decided to walk to Arziel Center, because we read in our tour guide that theres a view point.
That's what we did, we walked for about 45 minutes, went shopping for a bit and then took the elevator to get up to the 49th floor, where we enjoyed an amazing view!
Later on we decided to walk to the beach, stopped by a juice bar, and then finally made it to the sunset at the beach at about 7 45pm.
A bunch of pictures later we decided to continue our walk and get to our apartment, where we already started to pack our luggages again, our trip is almost over!
